ENTRY FEES:  Individual $5.00.  Relay $10.00.   All entries are due by July 1, 2009.

 

SEEDING:    All times submitted must be for 25 meters. All events will be seeded.  Entries with no times will be placed in heats upon receipt.  Awards are based on times only.

 

COACH’S PACKETS: Will be available at entrance to pool and will contain meet information, i.e. club entries, warm-up lane assignment/ time.

DISQUALIFICATION CRITERIA: 

Freestyle:          None

Backstroke:      Failure to stay on back

Breaststroke:    Proper arm pull and kick.  Two handed touch.

Butterfly:           Proper arm pull and kick.  Two handed touch.

Enforcement will be more liberal with younger swimmers.  The judge’s decision is final.

 

RESULTS:  Results will be posted on the wall near the diving well.

 

AWARDS:  “Every swimmer is a winner!”  Every swimmer will take home a participant ribbon.  Coaches can pick up awards from the awards table thirty minutes after the meet is completed. Bags will be marked for each club.

 

1st,  2nd , and 3rd place:              Medals

4th through 12th place:               Ribbons

TIMERS:  Each participating club must provide two timers with watches. Timers will be rotated throughout the meet.

 

PROGRAMS:  Programs will be on sale as you enter.

 

REFRESHMENTS:  The Snack Bar will be open for your convenience throughout the meet.

 

PARKING:  The club parking lot will be available for parking.  Additional parking will be available across the street at the Little League field and along Karakung Drive.

Note: Boys’ events are even numbers and Girls’ events are odd numbers (except for the relays).

 

Team/Meet Manager can also be used in place of the attached entry form.  Entries may be submitted on diskette or sent by e-mail. Please include a printed copy of your entries. 

 

Entry fees must be received  (payable to “Karakung Swim Club”) by Anne Leonard,

810 Homestead Avenue, Havertown, PA  19083 by Wednesday, July 1st.

 

ALL ENTRIES ARE DUE BY JULY 1, 2009.  NO DECK ENTRIES WILL BE ALLOWED THE DAY OF THE MEET.
